Cambio has been released!

Cambio is the name of the second book in the shifter series that started with Shifter Born.

Excerpt:

The metallic, emerald green spandex mini dress came to just an inch or so below her crotch and with each step, a matching green satin thong glimmered in the shadows. Her long hair was like flames dancing around her head and makeup was minimal. A long, black silk scarf was tied around her waist and she stood on top of black platforms with at least six inch heels. She held a small, black patent leather clutch purse.

Martha broke the silence. “You look lovely, dear.”

Marco closed his mouth, swallowed and followed up. “Oh my, yes. You are just beautiful.”

Sapphire glanced down at the plastic box. “Here. Let me pin this on you, chula.”

Sapphire grinned as he fiddled with the shoulder strap of her dress. The simple act of pinning a corsage took a few minutes while his eyes had a hard time focusing on the flower instead of the ample cleavage and erect nipples just inches from his chest. She whispered so her mom couldn’t hear. “After I tried this dress on, I decided an extra couple of inches wouldn’t hurt the image tonight. I hope you approve.”

His eyes snapped up to meet hers and the poor fellow was almost drooling. “You look fantastic. Of course I approve.”

Marco held the door while she kissed her mom goodnight.

Martha also had to whisper something. “Sometime soon, you’re going to have to show me how you hid a pushup, padded bra in that dress.”

Sapphire just hugged her and then Martha shooed them off. “You two get out of here. Go have a great time and drive carefully.”

Red Rose Publishing has just released a Bondage Anthology with five different tales.

This marvelous anthology was written by yours truly and edited by Belle.
● BooksStore – A female college student meets a bookstore owner and they share a passion for fantasy games. He helps her to explore some shared fantasies.

BaltiCon Tomorrow

BaltiCon 44 starts tomorrow and I’m gathering my goodies. Here’s my schedule, so far.

From 11pm to midnight on Friday, I’ll be giving a reading and answering questions.

Saturday between 1pm and 2pm, I’ll be moderating an Ice Age panel discussion.

Saturday between 5pm and 6pm, I’ll be moderating a panel discussion on What’s Love Got to Do With It?

Saturday between 7pm and 8pm, I’ll be at the book signing table with J. Daniel Sawyer.

A PDF file of the full schedule has been posted to the BaltiCon 44 page. You can download and plan ahead. I already see a half-dozen panels that look like a lot of fun. If you see me wandering the halls, say hello! I’m a friendly and garrulous sort.

Also, I’m planning on interviewing two fine authors and taking a few hundred pictures. Stay tuned for the highlights, this coming week.

Whoopee! I’m excited.

As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m currently working with the fine folks at Captiva Press on a steampunk / dieselpunk novel called Crazy Taylor. I just got the cover art and I wanted to share with y’all.

Crazy Taylor follows two generations of adventurers from the sunset of the British Empire in India, through the early days of WWII. The alternate history of an unlikely pair of warcraft: the Cloud Dancer, a new breed of high-speed warship, and her sister the Cloud Singer, a surprisingly nimble airship.

Will the courage, loyalty and tolerance of their crews allow love to flourish while explosions light the night skies?

The plan is to have it ready to go by BaltiCon, which is held over Memorial Day weekend, the end of May. I’m going to be sitting on some panels as well as having a book signing, so if you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and say “Hi!”.

Old Farts!

I’m passing this on as I did not want to be the only old fart receiving it.

Actually, it’s not a bad thing to be called, as you will see. Old Farts are easy to spot at sporting events; during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner. Old Farts remove their caps and stand at attention and sing without embarrassment. They know the words and believe in them.

Old Farts remember World War II, Perl Harbor , Guadalcanal , Normandy and Hitler. They remember the Atomic Age, the Korean War, The Cold War , the Jet Age and the Moon Landing. They remember the 50 plus Peacekeeping Missions from 1945 to 2005, not to mention Vietnam

If you bump into an Old Fart on the sidewalk he will apologize. If you pass an Old Fart on the street, he will nod or tip his cap to a lady. Old Farts trust strangers and are courtly to women.

Old Farts hold the door for the next person and always, when walking, make certain the lady is on the inside for protection.

Old Farts get embarrassed if someone curses in front of women and children and they don’t like any filth or dirty language on TV or in movies.

Old Farts have moral courage and personal integrity. They seldom brag unless it’s about their children or grandchildren.

It’s the Old Farts who know our great country is protected, not by politician’s, but by the young men and women in the military?serving their country.

This country needs Old Farts with their work ethic, sense of responsibility, pride in their country and decent values.

We need them now more than ever.

Thank God for Old Farts!

Pass this on to all the Old Farts you know.

I was taught to respect my elders. It’s just getting harder to find them.
