I amuse myself from time to time, with drawing house plans. Yes. I’ll admit it. I’m a frustrated architect.
Our county has a rule that “accessory homes” aka mother-in-law homes, are limited to 850 square feet. With that restriction, I designed this retirement home.
It features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a stacked washer/dryer pair in the master bath, an 8’x12′ screen porch, and a bay window dining nook in the kitchen.
The attic area over the master suite and baths provides storage and room for the HVAC air handler. The rest of the rooms have cathedral ceilings.
What y’all think?
